Former two-time NBA champion and Miami Heat star Chris Bosh hasn’t played basketball since February 9th, 2016. Bosh was diagnosed pulmonary embolism – which causes blood clots to dislodge to other parts of the body and moves to the lungs. The Miami Heat officially waived Bosh in July of 2017. Bosh was only 32 years old when he last played basketball.
Bosh was hopeful, that he would eventually be able to make a comeback to basketball. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to get clearance from multiple doctors and finally decided to end his comeback.
Yahoo Finance reporter Akiko Fujita sat down and talked with Chris Bosh about life after basketball. Bosh stated that he has finally found something to “reinvent” himself, since leaving the game of basketball. He found that passion again in music.
“Frankly, I was looking for something else outside of basketball. I had never really thought about that or even given it time because I was so consumed with being great with my craft, which was basketball,” Bosh told Yahoo Finance. The 2020 NBA Finals had Bosh’s last team, the Miami Heat and his former teammate Lebron James. Many media analysts recently had thought that its Anthony Davis, who is Lebron James’s greatest teammate. Bosh had something different to say.
