Eagles Take loss to Hot Ravens

The Philadelphia Eagles lose to the Baltimore Ravens 30-28.

Do not let the close score fool you, the Eagles did not play well at all. Well, that is until the second half started then they started to rally back but it was not enough for Lamar Jackson and company.

From the first play of the game, you could tell it was going to be a long day for the eagles.

At the end of the first quarter, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz had three passing yards. I don’t know about you but that is not good. While he made some good throws, he continued to struggle throughout the game ending with 213 passing yards.

The offensive line is still a big problem. Letting up another game with multiple sacks. Wentz got sacked a total of six times and that leads the NFL with sacks on the quarterback. Everyone on the line is now new and or a rookie. I understand that there are going to be some struggles but this is ridiculous. I don’t see any veterans returning to the O line anytime soon. These guys will have to build chemistry to give Carson Wentz more time in the pocket to throw the ball. But, it does look like Eagles G, Matt Pryor will get the start this week.

Miles Sanders had himself a day with his first 100+ rushing yard game of the season and his longest of the day was 74 yards. But now that he has a knee injury, he will be out for a couple of weeks. The other running backs like Scott, Clement, and Huntley will have to pick up the slack.

Eagles WR Travis Fulgham had himself another good game with receptions, 75 receiving yards, and one touchdown. The two Eagles players with a reception touchdown in each of their first three games since are Terrell Owens and Travis Fulgham. There is obviously some chemistry there between the two players so I’m hoping they can keep it going.

Speaking of chemistry Carson Wentz’s favorite target Zach Ertz will be out 3-4 weeks with an ankle injury. This will leave room for players like Dallas Goedert and Richard Rodgers to perform at a high level.

This week’s game was the first of the season where fans could attend. The max capacity was 7,500 people with fans, players, and staff included. Even with so little people in the stadium somehow someway eagles fans get into a fight.

After Eagles did some investigating that Eagles fan wearing the Wentz jersey is banned from all events associated with Lincoln Financial Field. For future references, anyone who is thinking of fighting at the Linc, do not do it, it is not worth it.
