Exciting Times For Tampa Bay Sports Teams

Fans must be extremely excited about supporting their local Tampa Bay sports teams. From the Buccaneers to the Lightning, and Rays, Tampa Bay has a lot of excitement going on.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – National Football League

When a six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers in March of 2020, they instantly became a contender around the league. Adding a QB like Brady and pairing him with star-studded wide receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, good things are bound to happen. The Buccaneers last won the Super Bowl in 2003 and haven’t sniffed the playoffs since 2007, when Jon Gruden was the coach.

The Buccaneers added another playmaker, but also a huge distraction in wide receiver Antonio Brown. He played one game last season with Brady in New England, before being released due to sexual assault allegations.

Tampa Bay Lightning – National Hockey League

The Lightning won the Stanley Cup in 2020, which was their second time winning overall. The National Hockey League was played in a playoff bubble in Toronto and Edmonton because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lightning ended the playoffs with a tremendous 16-6 record and also had the best preseason odds of +675.

Tampa Bay Rays – Major League Baseball

The Tampa Bay Rays are currently playing in their second World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are currently down in the series 2-1. After losing in the 2008 World Series, Tampa Bay is looking for its first championship. The Rays are one of the six teams in MLB history that have not won the World Series. They ended the 2020 modified season first in the American League East with a 40-20 record.
