Natalya: Queen of Harts

As a wrestling fan we have that one superstar or a few that inspires you so much. The one superstar that no matter what life throws at them, they get right back and fight forward. In my opinion, Natalya is one of the most dedicated female wrestlers today. She is a legend and one day will rightfully claim her spot as a hall of famer! Most of all she is my role model.

Who is Natalya?

Her real name is Natalie Neidhart-Wilson. Wilson was born in Calgary, Alberta Canada on May 27th, 1982(38). She is married to TJ wilson(Tyson Kidd). She is the daughter of the late Jim Neidhart, and the niece of Bret Hart, and late Owen Hart. Natalya is one of the many women that help start the women’s evolution in WWE. This amazing woman is a 1x Divas Champion and 1x SmackDown Women’s Champion. In so many cases she deserves a lot more titles then that.

In October 2019, Natalya started writing a weekly column in the Calgary Sun and Edmonton Sun detailing life and career. The column is called The Sharpshooter. The Sharpshooter is the submission finisher she uses to tap out her opponents. The finisher has been in her family for many generations. Natalya ranked number 53 in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated 500 Women Wrestlers in 2020.

Role Model

Natalya is the reason who I am today. There is so many cases that I want to give up, but when I watch her in the ring, or cutting promos I feel alive! Total Divas is also a hit for me as well. Why? because Natalya is on there. A wrestler can be a role model and inspiration on so many occasions. If you are not a wrestling fan, you will not understand. There is an article later on coming titled ” A Wrestling Fan”, so stay tune for that. Natalya always puts her heart and soul into her career. She is a true meaning of hard work and dedication. Seeing her smile makes me smile!

Meet and Greet

On November 6th, 2020 I had a one minute meet and greet with Natalya. I was able to tell her how much she means to me. It was too short, but it was so amazing to tell her how much its always been her in my life, and that she inspires me, and that she is my role model. I can’t wait to tell her in person one day and give her a big hug. Eight years ago, she followed me on Twitter, talk about a dream come true. Maybe one day, she will follow me on Instagram!

Two Things WWE Needs to Know

Natalya needs more shirts in the WWEShop, and she deserves to be part of the Survivor Series team! So make this happen, for this Natalya fan.

Thank you Natalya.
