The Mens National Basketball Team gets a win Against Canada, but not Dominate by any Means

The USA Men’s Basketball team got a nice win against a good Canadian team that came in with hopes of a win. The US did not look as dominant as they could. Playing against a team in Canada that is stacked with good, really good NBA talent, team USA looked beatable. If the Gold is in reach, and we know it is, they must improve.

Reaching the knockout rounds will not be too difficult as they play in group C in the Olympics, consisting of Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico. Serbia will have the three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and a really good team around him that will pose the group’s biggest challenge for the US. They play Serbia first followed by South Sudan which should be a breeze. The last game will feature Purto Rico which has improved over the years for sure and will give the USA all they have but will be overwhelmed by he stars of the NBA.

Team USA was led by Anthony Edwards off the bench with 13. Well balanced scoring for team USA but some tweaking with the lineup Kerr should think about before Paris.
