Thats right, Derrick Henry has moved on from Tennessee and has landed in Baltimore and will be paired with one of the best QBs in the game in Larmar Jackson. The deal, a two-year, $16 million agreement, could be worth up to $20 million, including $9 million guaranteed in the first year, the sources told Schefter of ESPN.
In Jackson’s six seasons, only one running back has gained over 1,000 yards rushing in Baltimore (Mark Ingram in 2019). Henry has rushed for over 1,000 yards in five of his past six seasons, including topping the NFL in 2019 and 2020. It has been a tough offseason for the Ravens as they lost a few free agents of their own. the Ravens had six of their free agents sign elsewhere: Edwards (Chargers), safety Geno Stone (Bengals), wide receiver Devin Duvernay (Jaguars), guard John Simpson (Jets), cornerback Ronald Darby (Jaguars) and linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips (Texans).
With a real downfield proven runner in Henry, the Ravens are well made up for the loss of two other backs that have been in key roles for the Ravens. Look out Chiefs, the Ravens are circling. Stay with EDF Lifestyle for more great NFL coverage.
