Over the past few days, there have been reports that Bronny James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, will be leaving and entering the transfer portal. Of course, this goes against what many believed was the set plan of him and his father playing in the NBA together before LeBron retires. Although anyone who keeps up with college basketball knows the younger James did not exactly tear up college basketball.
Bronny’s freshman season at USC he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while averaging just under 20 minutes per game. Then the coach that recruited him, Andy Enfield, stepped down after the season and has since accepted the head coaching job at SMU.
The rumors kicked off when college basketball reporter Dick Weiss reported that Bronny would be entering the transfer portal, but later deleted and retracted the post explaining that he couldn’t confirm the news. Later adding this on X;
can't confirm Bronny James story guys. still think its an idea whose time has come. make sense if it happens. I love the kid, think he could be a star elsewhere.

As for LeBron, it seems he is ready to let the young James make his own way.
“I don’t know where [the transfer portal report] came from, but at the end of the day, Bronny is his own man,” James explained. “He has some tough decisions to make and when he’s ready to make those decisions he’ll let us all know. But as his family, we’ll support whatever he does.”
In my opinion itwould do him a world of good toget away from LA and find his own way in the world and in the game of basketball, Being the son of a legand it can not be easy to make you way in a game your father rules. Good luck Bronny and hope to se you and in Gainsville (have to try right?) Stay with EDF Lifestyle for more great content.
