NBA free agent Kevin Porter Jr. has reportedly reached a plea deal in his domestic violence case in New York that will allow him to avoid prison time by completing a court-ordered program. Porter is accused of allegations that he strangled and repeatedly punched Kysre Gondrezick, a former WNBA player and his now ex-girlfriend. Prosecutors claim that Gondrezick told officers that Porter hit her with a closed fist, causing her to suffer a gash above her right eye.
Statement from Porter Jr. attorneys: “The resolution will allow Mr. Porter to put this incident, which involved false felony allegations and false facts, behind him with no criminal record and move forward.” — Phillip Jobe and Stephanie Kelemen https://t.co/IdOUDWjR7m

Porter is a free agent but it is yet to be seen if any team will pick him up after the drama.
