THE NFL IS BACK TONIGHT! Bears V Texans in HOF Game

The Hall of Fame game takes place tonight at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio and the battle between the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans will look a little different. The two teams kick off the 24-25 season without the starters for both teams but no less, it is still the NFL football, and it is back! Most people are waiting patiently to see the number one pick, Caleb Williams as we all want to see if he can be as great as the Texans number one guy last season CJ Stroud. but we will get Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent instead.

We all know what the preseason means, especially the first few games, so sit back and watch a bunch of future stars take the field and the NFL season gets kicked off. Don’t expect much just enjoy!

You may wonder why the HOF game? Why is it important besides kicking off a season?

The Hall of Fame game is the precursor to a week’s worth of festivities during Enshrinement Week. Both the Bears and Texans were chosen due to players from their respective franchises entering this year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame class.

For the Bears, Steve “Mongo” McMichael, Devin Hester and Julius Peppers will be enshrined forever in the Hall of Fame. For the Texans, wide receiver Andre Johnson will enter the Hall.

Here’s the schedule for the week following the game on Aug. 1.

  • Aug. 2: Fashion Show
  • Aug. 2: Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner, presented by Haggar
  • Aug. 3: The Canton Repository Grand Parade
