UFL Playoffs are set as the first season is winding down and the cream is rising to the top. Turns out putting the two merging leagues, the XFL and USFL, in each conference was a great idea and soon we will know which league had the true champ when they meet in the UFL inaugural championship.
So far the Birmingham Stallions of the old USFL has been the top team in the league. Sporting a perfect record through 8 games the Stallions and their quarterback Adrian Martinez has just been in sink on both sides of the ball. But their run to a title must first go through the St. Louis Battlehawks, no easy task, and then either the Brahams or Panthers from the XFL side in the title game.

With two weeks to go in the regular season, these four teams will be preparing for their conference title games on June 9th starting at 3 pm. Th Championship game will be on Sunday, June 16th on Fox. The season has been a great success for season number one and can only get better as they gain in experience. They may never gain the following of the NFL but when enough of the guys transition and the NFL uses the league as a source of talent more people will follow. The game is great, the talent is there.
