NEW YORK– The NBA today announced the return of “Throw it Down with Bill Walton,” an alternate game telecast hosted by Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer and legendary broadcaster Bill Walton that will stream on NBA League Pass via the NBA App with a new slate of guests. Season two will feature four alternate game telecasts during the 2023-24 season, beginning Monday, Jan. 29 for the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Denver Nuggets game at 9 p.m. ET.
Walton, an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster, and play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti will provide in-game analysis, offer their thoughts on rising stars throughout the league and will feature special guests from across sports, music and entertainment.

Special guest appearances on “Throw it Down with Bill Walton” during the 2022-23 season included Basketball Hall of Famers Charles Barkley, Julius Erving, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish, Nike co-founder and chairman emeritus Phil Knight, Grateful Dead founding member Bobby Weir, award-winning actor and comedian Adam Sandler, seven-time GRAMMY Award winner John Mayer, and two-time Academy Award winner Ben Affleck, among others.
