Buffalo Chicken Tacos

This time of year having a bunch of friends over for a watch party is not uncommon. It could be that it is just Tuesday and tacos are a must. Either way, this quick and easy Buffalo Chicken Taco recipe is one for the keeper box. The great part about tacos is you can add another topping or use any of your favorite taco toppings as well. This is fast and it should only take you around 15-25 minutes from start to finish. Pair this with some wings, chips, and dip and you have a party ready to go!

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce, such as Franks RedHot or Cholula ( your fav)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 small or 1/2 large plain rotisserie chicken (about 1 3/4 pounds), shredded (about 4 packed cups)
  •  sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 (6inch) flour tortillas or Corn
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Lettuce cut to desire
  • Cilantro
  • Red onion cut into tiny prices

Make the Buffalo chicken:

Take the butter and melt it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Take your hot sauce of choice and mix it into the melted butter along with garlic powder, salt, and pepper as desired. Next, take the shredded chicken and toss with the sauce you created. Set aside. Take your flour or corn tortillas and heat on the grill or pan for a few seconds on each side till warm. Take Tortillas and place chicken inside, top with toppings you desire and enjoy!
