The NBA Has Parity and we all are Benefiting

For the first time in a long time the NBA has parity and the fans have to love it. The norm has been to come into a season and we know about which teams are the ones to beat, and sure this year there are the so-called elite teams, The Nuggets, Celtic, and Bucks, but they have shown a unique ability to lose to a team that just a year ago was awful.

On the other hand, those same teams that had graced the bottom of th NBA are now sitting at the top of the conferences and that is good for all. Take the OKC Thunder, they have been one of the worst teams in the NBA for many years now, although they have been building a future and this season the future has arrived. With second-year man Chet Holmgren manning the middle of that defense and offense and SGA making the point position look like the easiest position to play on the court, this team is just winning and looking good doing it.

In the East, the Orlando Magic have risen from the bottom to show their years of rebuilding have made way and a new look in Orlando has arrived, winning. The Magic look like they may still be a year and a few pieces away from a real contender, they have shown the ability to play with any team in th NBA.

Okay, then there is the Detriot Pistons, still at the bottom, but it is a mystery why. They have a ton of talent and a head coach who once won Coach of the Year. Whatever it is that keeps the Pistons from winning they better figure it out as it seems clear their star, Cunningham, is getting tired of the losing and it could be possible he could want out soon.

The NBA has been great so far and injuries have not been a real issue. What this means is the playoffs should be better than ever and the series should go deep. The best time of the NBA year is upon us as the games mean a bit more and playoff position will become an issue for all. Stay with us here at EDF Lifestyle for more coverage of the NBA.
