Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards fined

The Timberwolves had a hard-fought win the other night against the OKC Thunder and after that win, Edwards made a few choice words about the referees. To his credit, he knew a fine would be coming and today it did. From the NBA;

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been fined $40,000 for repeatedly publicly criticizing the officiating, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President and head of Basketball Operations.

Edwards made his comments postgame following the Timberwolves’ 107-101 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Jan. 29 at Paycom Center.
